Create Elastic Quota
INFO
To learn about Elastic Quotas and the provider/consumer model, see Elastic Node Pools.
An Elastic Quota allocates a portion of an Elastic Fleet's resources to a consuming organization. The consumer can then create Elastic Node Pools from that Quota.
Prerequisites
- An Elastic Fleet in ready state
Create a Quota
- Navigate to your Elastic Fleet → Quotas → Create Quota
- Configure the properties:
| Property | Description | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Name | A name for this Quota | Yes |
| Organization | The consuming organization that will use this capacity | Yes |
| Cores | Number of CPU cores allocated | Yes |
| Memory (MB) | Amount of memory in MB | Yes |
| Disk (GB) | Amount of disk space in GB | Yes |
- Click Create Elastic Quota
The Quota is available immediately. The consuming organization can now create Elastic Node Pools from it.
TIP

WARNING
The consuming organization cannot be changed after creation.
