Spreads the Foundry's database, object storage and services evenly over the Nest Instances again.

Rebalance after:

• Scaling out a highly available Nest
• Scaling in the Nest
• Replacing Nest Instances
• Reinstalling a Nest Instance

Prerequisites

• The Foundry is highly available
• The Nest is healthy and no update, reset or join is running
• The Nest Instances meet the Foundry's HA mode: at least three Ready for Multi-instance; at least three Ready in at least two Zones for Multi-zone

Rebalance the Foundry

1. Navigate to Admin settings → Foundry → Actions → Rebalance and confirm

The rebalance runs as an operation on the Foundry's Operations tab.
