Create Elastic Fleet

An Elastic Fleet turns a Cluster's Machine Pool into virtualization capacity using KubeVirt. Creating a Fleet deploys the virtualization stack across all workers in the Cluster.
Prerequisites
- A Cluster with a Machine Pool and enrolled Machines
- The Cluster must not already have an Elastic Fleet
Create a Fleet
- Navigate to Elastic Fleets → Create Elastic Fleet
- Configure the properties:

- Click Create Elastic Fleet
The Fleet creation triggers an operation that deploys KubeVirt and the virtualization stack. Monitor progress in the operations log. Once the Fleet is ready, you can create Elastic Quotas to allocate capacity to organizations.
TIP
As new machines are enrolled into the underlying Machine Pool, the Fleet's available capacity grows automatically.
