Create Elastic Quota

INFO

To learn about Elastic Quotas and the provider/consumer model, see Elastic Node Pools.

An Elastic Quota allocates a portion of an Elastic Fleet's resources to a consuming organization. The consumer can then create Elastic Node Pools from that Quota.

Prerequisites

Create a Quota

  1. Navigate to your Elastic Fleet → Quotas → Create Elastic Quota
  2. Configure the properties:
PropertyDescriptionRequired
NameA name for this QuotaYes
OrganizationThe consuming organization that will use this capacityYes
vCPUsNumber of vCPUs allocatedYes
Memory (MB)Amount of memory in MBYes
Disk (GB)Amount of disk space in GBYes
  1. Click Create

The Quota is available immediately. The consuming organization can now create Elastic Node Pools from it.

TIP

You can create multiple Quotas per Fleet and per organization. The sum of all Quotas should not exceed the Fleet's total capacity.

WARNING

The consuming organization cannot be changed after creation.
