Delete Machine
Deleting a Machine permanently removes it from meltcloud. Once deleted, the Machine loses its connection to meltcloud and must be re-enrolled to be managed again.
Prerequisites
A Machine can only be deleted if it is not assigned to a Machine Pool. If the Machine is currently assigned, unassign or force-remove it first.
Machines in the following states can be deleted:
- preregistered: created but never enrolled
- ready_unassigned: enrolled but not assigned to a pool
- force_unassigned: force-removed from a pool (once the agent reboots and reaches ready_unassigned)
Delete a Machine
- Go to Machines → your machine
- Click Actions → Delete
WARNING
Deletion is permanent. The Machine record and all its revisions are removed. If the Machine is still running, it will no longer be able to reach meltcloud and must be re-enrolled from scratch using an Enrollment Image.
